The Boys actress Claudia Doumit has revealed that her journey to stardom has altered her perception about getting a nose job.

During a recent panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con, Doumit, 32, opened up about how she once considered undergoing plastic surgery earlier in her career.

“My nose is a beautiful blend of Lebanese and Italian heritage,” she said on stage. “It’s a strong feature.” However, she admitted that she used to think, “When I book my first job, I’ll get a nose job. I’ll get paid and then I’ll get a nose job.”

She confessed that the pressure to undergo plastic surgery “was instilled in me for many years.” But, “then I landed my first role and I didn’t get a nose job — I kept saying ‘job’ a lot, didn’t I?” she joked. “But I didn’t get a nose job, and then I booked the next role, and thought, ‘Now I’ll get it.’ And then I didn’t get a nose job again. And I kept booking roles without getting a nose job. And I finally realized that I was getting hired with the way I looked, and I thought, ‘Oh, I don’t need a nose job because I’m booking jobs.’”

The Australian-born actress landed her breakout TV role on the NBC sci-fi series Timeless in 2016 before transitioning into video games as Farah Karim in 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Doumit currently plays Victoria Neuman, a politician and secret supervillain, in the Amazon Prime superhero series The Boys.

Doumit emphasized, “I’m doing what I love, and I’m doing it with my natural look. It defies the traditional narrative. It’s not what many people think beauty is. But I think it’s beautiful, and I want to see more diverse features on women on screen. So, go, baby.”

Off-screen, Doumit has been linked to The Boys costar Jack Quaid, who plays tech whiz Hughie Campbell, since June 2022. Doumit joined the cast in 2020.

In July 2023, a source revealed that the couple was “still together and going strong.”

As his career continued to soar, Quaid, 32 — the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid — was keeping his personal life private. “He’s a very private person these days, just like his mother,” the insider shared. (Ryan, 62, and Dennis, 70, split in 2000 after nine years of marriage.)
