Sandra Bullock is marking a milestone birthday today, turning 60, almost a year after the passing of her partner Bryan Randall from ALS.
Bullock, who dated Randall from 2015 until his death at the age of 57 in August 2023, had referred to him as “the love of my life.”
A source close to Bullock’s friend Jennifer Aniston, 55, revealed that the actress is “doing okay now” and is focusing on her children, Louis, 14, and Laila, 9, whom she adopted in 2010 and 2015, respectively.
“Her kids are amazing. She’s very happy to be a mom,” the source said, adding that Bullock’s friends had been supportive during Randall’s illness and after his passing.

Randall passed away on August 5, 2023, after a private three-year battle with ALS, a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, with no cure.
At the time of his passing, his family released a statement, saying, “It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.”
Bullock’s sister, Gesine, had also mourned the loss of Randall, praising the “amazing” way Sandra had cared for her longtime partner during his private ALS battle.

Bullock had opened up about her relationship with Randall on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk in 2021, saying, “I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children – three children, his older daughter.”
The actress had also recalled informing Randall that she planned to adopt a second child, saying, “I said, ‘Remember that NDA you signed when you photographed my son?’ I said, ‘You know, that still holds.'”
Randall had a daughter, Skylar, 30, from a previous relationship, and Bullock’s children, Louis and Laila, had referred to him as “dad” after the ceremony.
Bullock was previously married to Jesse James from 2005 to 2010 and had adopted Louis in 2010 and Laila in 2015.
