Shirley MacLaine, the 90-year-old Oscar-winning actress, was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at Kristy’s Village Cafe in Malibu, California, a favorite haunt of hers.
MacLaine, dressed in a comfortable gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt over a light blue shirt featuring a graphic of a New Mexico general store, paired with gray pants and red shoes, was seen with a male friend who assisted her as they walked outside the oceanfront eatery.
The Richmond, Virginia-born actress, who has been seen in numerous iconic films such as Steel Magnolias, Postcards from the Edge, and The Turning Point, celebrated a milestone 90th birthday earlier this year.
In a recent interview, MacLaine expressed her gratitude for still being able to work, saying, “I have my friends and I am really healthy.”
The actress is preparing to release a new book titled The Wall of Life this fall, a collection of over 150 pictures and stories.
“I have lived a wonderful life and I wanted to share it,” MacLaine said of the project, which was inspired by a collage of images she created on a wall in her Malibu home over 45 years ago.
