Angelina Jolie’s son Pax has been released from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following his e-bike crash.
The 20-year-old will have a long and challenging road to recovery, having suffered complex trauma, a source revealed.
Pax was involved in a serious accident on Monday, July 29, when he crashed his electric bike into a car during rush hour in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.
Witnesses who lived nearby initially believed Pax had died in the crash as they discovered him lying lifeless on the ground.
It was not until paramedics arrived at the scene that Pax regained consciousness.
Angelina has been by her son’s side at the hospital, as well as his other siblings, who have been visiting and helping.
The insider added that Pax and Angelina “are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.”

It comes following claims that Angelina is reportedly seeking help for her “troubled” son.
Pax has been involved in incidents involving two and four-wheeled vehicles in the past, with friends expressing concern about his reckless behavior.
A source told Page Six that Pax has had a string of car crashes, adding, “It’s not great. Pax is a troubled kid, and Angelina is doing her best to help him.”

Angelina has been doing her best to help her son, who was born in Vietnam and adopted by her at the age of three. Pax’s siblings, including Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, have also been estranged from their father Brad.
The family’s complicated dynamics have been well-documented, with Angelina accusing Brad of physical and emotional abuse in 2016.
The allegations led to a bitter divorce battle, with the two actors eventually settling their custody agreement in 2019.
Despite the challenges they’ve faced, Angelina has remained committed to her children, and has been spotted attending to Pax’s needs since the accident.
The actress has also been seeking help for her son, who has been struggling with his own personal demons.
Pax’s accident is just the latest in a string of challenges he’s faced, including a history of reckless behavior and run-ins with the law.
Despite the setbacks, Angelina remains determined to support her son and help him get the help he needs.
