A-list celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, John Legend, Questlove, and Demi Lovato, have come out in support of Kamala Harris as the Democratic party’s candidate for president after Joe Biden’s surprise withdrawal from the race.
Curtis, 65, took to social media to thank President Biden for his service and express her wholehearted support for Harris, sharing a tender photo of the President walking away from his announcement with an American flag.
The Oscar winner wrote, “GOD BLESS YOU @joebiden for your LEADERSHIP, GRACE UNDER PRESSURE, STRENGTH and RESILIENCE! Your country THANKS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!”

She then posted two other endorsements next to photos of Vice President Harris, writing, “I support wholeheartedly @joebiden and his decision to step down and to endorse unreservedly @kamalaharris.”
Curtis also shared a drawing with the word “TESTED” at the bottom, writing a simple, “LFG @kamalaharris.”

John Legend, 45, shared his thoughts across social media platforms, writing, “Joe Biden has presided over the most consequential first term of my lifetime.”
The Grammy winner went on to list what he thought were some of the President’s most important accomplishments, including helping the country recover from the pandemic, investing in infrastructure, and making significant strides in fighting climate change.
Legend then thanked Biden for his service and threw his support behind Harris, promising to help the campaign.
