Trapped in a Sticky Situation: Rapper Kyle’s Elevator Nightmare
Rapper Kyle, also known as SuperDuperKyle on YouTube, had a harrowing experience on Thursday night when he and his friends got stuck in a broken elevator at the Soho House in Austin.
The group, including RDCWorld founder Desmond Johnson, was attending the RDCWorld event kicking off Dream Con when the elevator malfunctioned, leaving them trapped for an hour.
Fortunately, firefighters arrived on the scene to rescue the group, and Kyle was seen thanking the first responders for their help.
The dramatic scene was captured on camera, with photos showing the group being led out of the elevator one by one.
According to eyewitnesses, Kyle’s girlfriend was overcome with emotion during the ordeal, but the rapper remained calm and composed.
A video from inside the elevator reveals the uncomfortable and sweltering conditions the group endured during their hour-long confinement.
One firefighter was heard admonishing the group, saying, “This is why you don’t put 16 people on an elevator.” The elevator had a capacity of only five people, highlighting the importance of following safety guidelines.
The incident serves as a reminder to always read and follow posted safety signs to avoid such hazardous situations.
