Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks: No Rush to Tie the Knot
The Australian actor and his model girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, are enjoying life together in their home country, but marriage is not on the horizon anytime soon – or possibly ever.
A source close to the couple reveals, “They have no plans on getting married in the near future – and perhaps, not at all.” This hesitation stems from Hemsworth’s previous marriage to Miley Cyrus, which ended in divorce. “Liam didn’t have a good experience the first time around, and it’s not something he thinks of in a positive light,” the insider explains.

Hemsworth and Cyrus had a nearly decade-long on-again, off-again relationship, which culminated in a marriage that lasted only a few months. Following their split, Hemsworth found love again with Brooks, whom he started dating in late 2019. “Liam and Gabriella are really close,” a source said at the time, noting that the couple shares similar values and connects on important topics.
Brooks has been tight-lipped about her relationship, only revealing that it’s “very, very important and very sacred” to her. As a model, she’s learned to keep certain aspects of her life private, including her bond with Hemsworth. “I completely understand [the interest in our relationship], but at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me.”
After nearly five years of dating, Hemsworth and Brooks’ relationship continues to thrive out of the spotlight. “His family welcomed her with open arms, and he loves how perfectly she blends in with all of them,” a source says, adding, “[They] don’t need a piece of paper to make things official.”
The couple recently took a romantic getaway to the Greek islands, where they shared rare photos of each other on social media. Hemsworth captioned his vacation snaps, “Greece 🇬🇷 what a wonderful place,” including a shot of Brooks on the beach at sunset.
