Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end, has returned to training camp after a whirlwind offseason spent with his girlfriend, pop sensation Taylor Swift. Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in February, Kelce accompanied Swift on her Eras Tour across Europe, even making a cameo appearance on stage at her Wembley Stadium show in London.
Now back with the Chiefs, Kelce has been hailed as the “greatest of all time” at his position by ESPN host Pat McAfee, who praised his incredible offseason and impressive start to training camp. McAfee noted that Kelce’s stats and accomplishments make him the top tight end in the game, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Kelce’s impressive stats, including 11,328 receiving yards, put him among the all-time greats at the position. He’s also tied for fifth in receiving touchdowns, and with the Chiefs’ strong receiving corps, including new additions Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Xavier Worthy, Kelce is poised to continue making history.
The Chiefs are looking to make a historic three-peat this season, and with Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the charge, they’re well on their way. McAfee noted that if the Chiefs achieve this feat, many players on the team will be considered among the greatest of all time at their positions.

Kelce’s offseason adventures with Swift didn’t go unnoticed, with fans spotting him at her concerts in Germany and other locations. Coach Andy Reid recently commented on Kelce’s relationship with Swift, saying that both parties enjoy being in the background at times, and that Kelce loves the escape from the spotlight.
With six weeks to prepare for their first game against the Ravens on September 5, Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up for what promises to be an exciting season.
