Gridiron Glamour: Mahomes Spills on Kelce’s Sartorial Secret to Scoring Style Points

Patrick Mahomes Discloses the Valuable Fashion Lesson He Learned from Travis Kelce

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has revealed the most valuable fashion lesson he learned from his teammate Travis Kelce. Both NFL stars are known for their eye-catching gameday outfits, with Mahomes often arriving at road games in sharp suits and sunglasses.

Mahomes claims he is “very superstitious” but credits Kelce, his close friend and teammate, for inspiring him to experiment with his fashion sense. Ahead of the new NFL season, Mahomes discussed the best fashion advice he ever received.

According to Mahomes, the best fashion tip is to “be you” and not worry about what others think. He credits Kelce for teaching him this valuable lesson, stating, “I think being you is the best fashion tip you can have – no matter what everybody else thinks. I think I learned that from Travis Kelce – you can wear whatever outfit as long as you’re confident in it, you can make it work.”

The Chiefs will begin their pursuit of another Super Bowl crown against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5. Mahomes revealed that he is most looking forward to playing the Raiders, stating, “I’m always really excited to play the Raiders – it’s always a great game, we always have a fun time when we’re able to go up against each other.”

Mahomes also discussed his dream teammate, Randy Moss, and how the introduction of NIL (name, image, and likeness) would have altered his career at Texas Tech and in the NFL if it were introduced during his college days.

The 28-year-old quarterback believes that he would have stayed for his senior year at Texas Tech if NIL were introduced earlier, and who knows what the rest of his NFL history would have been?
