Angelina Jolie’s Son Pax Jolie-Pitt Released from ICU After Suffering ‘Complex Trauma’
Angelina Jolie‘s son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, has finally been released from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suffering from “complex trauma” following an electric bicycle accident.
A close family friend revealed that Pax, 20, will now begin the long and arduous journey of recovery and physical therapy. The friend expressed gratitude for the swift and life-saving actions of first responders and the exceptional medical care Pax received.
Pax was rushed to the hospital after the accident, which occurred in Los Angeles on Monday, July 29. He remained in a stable condition in the hospital until his recent release from the ICU.
A family insider revealed that Angelina is by her son’s side, along with his siblings, who are all providing support and helping him through this difficult time.
According to law enforcement sources, Pax was involved in an electric bicycle accident in Los Angeles on Monday, July 29, when he crashed into a car that was stopped at a red light. Witnesses reported that Pax, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered hip pain and a head injury from the crash.
Along with Pax, Jolie and Pitt share five other children: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Jolie has been known to attend red carpet events with her children, but Pax has largely remained out of the spotlight. However, he did make an appearance at the 2021 premiere of the documentary Paper & Glue: A JR Project, alongside his mother and Shiloh.
Jolie has spoken about her close bond with her children in various interviews, stating that she wants them to be exposed to the showbiz industry but not at the expense of their well-being. She also expressed her gratitude for her children’s resilience and teamwork in helping her navigate the challenges of single parenthood.
