Mary Earps, the renowned England goalkeeper, has been enjoying a summer of relaxation and excitement, from winning the Euros to becoming a Swiftie. As she prepares for her move to Paris Saint-Germain, Earps reflects on her journey and talks about her new chapter.
With 50 caps under her belt, Earps has been an integral part of the England women’s team, bringing home more success than ever before. This summer, she’s taken time off to unwind, attending Taylor Swift concerts and watching the F1 at Silverstone.
In July, Earps joined Paris Saint-Germain, leaving behind Manchester United after five years. She’s now focusing on learning French and settling into her new life in Paris.

Speaking to the Mail, Earps expressed her excitement about moving to Paris and playing for a top team. She’s determined to learn French and adapt to her new surroundings.
“I’m really looking forward to the new journey and this new chapter,” she said. “I’m most excited to move to Paris for the football. I cannot wait to play for a top team and to be in a position to compete and win trophies over the next few years.”
Earps also reflected on her success with the Lionesses, who secured their place in the 2025 Euros. She believes it’s time to gain the support of the nation again.
“First and foremost, it was great to qualify. We had to secure our place first, so it’s very much a one step at a time thing,” she said. “Of course, we’ve enjoyed some tremendous success over the last few years, making a World Cup final and the biggest success was winning the Euros.”

As a highly visible role model, Earps has partnered with Warburtons to promote healthy eating and the importance of protein in her training. She believes it’s essential to focus on fueling her body for optimal performance.
“Food and fuel in your body, it’s not just about what your body looks like, it’s about how your body performs,” she said. “You need your body in order to live and survive, and I think it’s a really important message that we send to young people.”
