Singing sensation Céline Dion is preparing to make a triumphant return to the stage, following a lengthy hiatus due to her ongoing battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
The 56-year-old legendary singer, who has been open about her struggles with the incurable condition, is set to perform at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, marking her first live show since stepping away from the spotlight.
Céline previously vowed to return to the stage, even if it meant crawling, and it seems she’s sticking to her guns.
The singer’s last live performance was during her Courage world tour in Newark, New Jersey on March 8, 2020, before canceling the tour due to the Covid pandemic.

According to reports, Céline is rumoured to be opening the ceremony on Friday, which will mark her first performance since stepping away from the spotlight.
In a recent interview with Vogue France, Céline expressed her determination to return to the stage, saying: ‘I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!’
Céline’s documentary, I Am: Céline Dion, has received rave reviews from critics, with many praising her openness and honesty about her struggles with SPS.
