Former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe has shared his thoughts on Tom Brady’s upcoming NFL broadcasting debut, predicting that the Hall of Famer will “work it to death” as an analyst for Fox.
Brady, 47, is set to start his lucrative analyst contract with Fox this season, following a year-long hiatus after retiring from the NFL for the second time.
Bledsoe, who was replaced by Brady as Bill Belichick’s starter over two decades ago, gave a humorous prediction about how the seven-time Super Bowl winner will fare live on air.

“I know that Tommy will work it to death,” Bledsoe said. “I will get kind of tired of his squeaky ass voice, but I know he’ll do a great job calling the games.”
Bledsoe also likened Brady to iconic NFL analysts such as Tony Romo, stating that “it’s the guys that do the work that are great at it” and that Brady will likely excel in his new role.
This is not the first time Bledsoe has poked fun at Brady. Five months ago, he joined a host of former players, comedians, and celebrities at Netflix’s roast of Brady, where he took aim at the quarterback’s divorce from Gisele Bundchen.

Bundchen was reportedly left fuming at the jokes about her and Brady’s former marriage during the special, saying she “was deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family.”
Brady and Bundchen, who share two kids together, son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, divorced on October 28, 2022, after 13 years of marriage.
Brady is set to make $37.5 million annually as part of his broadcasting deal with Fox, which lasts for 10 years and should see him pocket at least $375 million.
And his return to his and Bledsoe’s former stomping ground was seemingly confirmed last week, with sources suggesting he will make a homecoming appearance in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
