Kaitlyn Bristowe has had a change of heart when it comes to dating within the Bachelor Nation circle. After her split from Jason Tartick, she initially wasn’t open to dating another member of the franchise, but now she’s singing a different tune.

During her appearance on the “U Up?” podcast, Bristowe revealed that her initial hesitation to date another Bachelor Nation alum was due to the superficial nature of the dating world. “I wonder if other people have that in, like, the workplace,” she joked. “Like, ‘I don’t want to date another lawyer if I’m a lawyer.’ It’s one of those things where I say that, but then I see all the hot pieces of eye candy that come out of the Bachelor franchise. And I’m like, ‘OK.'”
Bristowe first appeared on Chris Soules‘ season 19 of The Bachelor, where she got eliminated before the finale. She was then chosen to lead the next season of The Bachelorette, where she got engaged to Shawn Booth. The pair called off their engagement several years later, and Bristowe moved on with Tartick. The “Trading Secrets” podcast host proposed in 2021, two years before Bristowe called off their engagement.
Bristowe explained that she and Tartick got caught up in the attention and social media frenzy that came with being a Bachelor Nation couple. “We got caught up in monetizing our relationship for social media and that felt gross really quick.” She revealed that Tartick has since moved on with TikTok star Kat Stickler, while she has been back in the dating scene.

Bristowe wants to build a solid foundation with her next partner before introducing them to her social media followers. “I don’t want to even tease it and, like, put an emoji over his face and get people talking. It doesn’t feel good.”
Bristowe has been spotted with Tayshia Adams‘ Bachelorette winner and ex-fiancé, Zac Clark, but hasn’t revealed their dating status. She hinted that she had a conversation with Adams about her plans to date Clark that backfired.
Bristowe did not mention Adams or Clark by name, neither of whom has addressed the dating rumors.
