NFL speedster Tyreek Hill had fans buzzing on social media with his reaction to what was purportedly his inaugural donut experience. In a video shared by The Athletes Plug, the 30-year-old cautiously approaches his supposed introductory bite of the confectionery treat.
Hill cautiously handled and sniffed a chocolate-frosted donut before taking a tentative nibble, encouraged by someone off-camera urging him to ‘give it a chance.’ The Dolphins wide receiver paused to consider his verdict.
‘You were right, it does look good,’ he began, before trailing off. ‘But wait.’ After a moment, he continued, ‘This is actually kind of good. The first [bite] wasn’t great, though.’
Miami Dolphins standout Tyreek Hill sparked a social media frenzy with his reaction to tasting a donut for the alleged first time.
While the video garnered 2.6 million views, some fans expressed skepticism about it being Hill’s genuine first donut encounter. ‘I don’t buy that it’s his first donut,’ a user commented. ‘If you grew up in America, you’ve had your fair share of donuts before your first birthday.’
‘I’m not buying it,’ another added. Nonetheless, some viewers accepted the premise but criticized the donut choice. ‘His introductory donut should’ve been Krispy Kreme,’ one individual opined.
‘You gave him the most bland donut flavor to sample,’ another remarked. ‘It’s also one of the worst donuts out there,’ a third chimed in, while a fourth asserted, ‘You should’ve gone with a Jelly.’
Hill, who spent six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, is preparing for his third campaign with the Miami Dolphins.
Last season, Hill amassed 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, showcasing his impressive athleticism and speed.
Known for his lightning speed and agility, it’s no surprise that the eight-year NFL veteran maintains a strict diet to stay in peak physical condition. After six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, Hill is gearing up for his ninth NFL season and third with the Dolphins.
During the 2023 campaign, Hill put up impressive numbers, recording 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Dolphins concluded the season with an 11-6 record before falling to Hill’s former team, the Chiefs, in the Wild Card round.
