**Tennessee Titans Star Jeffery Simmons Blasts Local Sports Radio Host on Live Air**
Tennessee Titans defensive end Jeffery Simmons lost his cool during a live broadcast at the team’s training camp on Tuesday, lashing out at a local sports radio host.
The incident occurred when Simmons approached the table of Titans reporter Buck Reising, who was preparing to interview teammate Roger McCreary. When asked if he wanted to sit down and talk, Simmons responded, “I don’t wanna talk to you, you’re a **bleep**.”
Simmons walked away, only to return and continue his rant, saying, “I don’t care. You do a lot of talking on social media, **bleep**. That’s what I’m telling you, stop talking on social media and talk to me.”

The confrontation was sparked by Reising’s earlier criticism of Simmons on social media, where he posted about a shoving match between Simmons and Titans first-round draft pick JC Latham. Reising wrote, “Simmons just swung at Latham after some pushing and shoving. Refs said 98 would have been tossed in the game. He’s back in for the next two and immediately starts a brawl. Sloppy. Simmons needs to lock tf in.”
Later in the show, Reising addressed the altercation, downplaying its severity and expressing his willingness to move forward and bury the hatchet with Simmons.

Simmons, entering his sixth season with the Titans, has been left unhappy with the Nashville radio host’s behavior on social media. Last year, he signed a four-year, $94 million contract extension with the team.
Reising emphasized the importance of accountability and open discourse, saying, “When we have opinions on stuff, they should be able to address it with us. There’s a lack of accountability, just generally, with people who talk in front of microphones and talk on Twitter and things like that. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a discourse.”
Simmons, a two-time Pro Bowler, is gearing up for his sixth season with the Titans after being selected by Tennessee with the 19th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
