Fertility Struggle: Sabina Gadecki Opens Up About IVF’s Hidden Costs on Body and Mind

Fire Country alum Sabina Gadecki is opening up about the challenges of fertility treatments, revealing the emotional toll it takes on individuals and the importance of having a strong support system.
Gadecki, 40, shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, detailing her experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the physical and mental struggles that come with it. “Going into our first round of IVF, I thought I knew what to expect, but let me tell you — something that isn’t talked about enough is how crucial it is to have the right people around you,” she wrote.
The video showed clips of Gadecki getting emotional, hugging her mom and husband Tyler Rich, and seeking help from friends with injections. In one clip, a friend reassured her that she could do the injections anywhere, anytime, and that she needed to normalize the process.

Gadecki noted that she had “plenty of days where I felt completely drained” during the two rounds of IVF, but credited her support system for being her “cheerleaders every single day.”

Gadecki previously shared a video of her husband helping her with an injection, captioning it, “When you’re married to a baby while trying to have a baby. It was an adventure and a learning experience, to say the absolute least.”

Gadecki gushed about her husband while celebrating their wedding anniversary in September 2023, calling him her “cheerleader” and praising his kindness and thoughtfulness.
Rich, meanwhile, praised his wife on her 40th birthday, calling her “so loved” and crediting her for making others smile and feel appreciated.
