Speaking to People, Amurri shared that the ceremony was a reflection of their desire to center their little family unit. “We really wanted to make it as much about the kids as it was about us,” she said, referring to her three children: daughter Marlowe, eight, and sons Major, seven, and Mateo, four.
The couple worked closely with their officiant to create a deeply personal and intimate ceremony. “All we really needed was a beautiful atmosphere, our nearest and dearest, and a delicious party,” Amurri gushed, highlighting the importance of their shared love for food.
The wedding also featured a unique twist, with the couple opting to write their own love letters to be read as vows. “We wanted to write our own love letters to each other… It was so special,” Amurri revealed.
