Erin Andrews was left impressed by Travis Kelce after sharing the VIP tent with the Kansas City Chiefs player at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London.
In the latest episode of their Calm Down podcast, Andrews and co-host Charissa Thompson, who proudly claim to be the couple’s matchmakers, shared their behind-the-scenes experience with Kelce at his girlfriend’s record-breaking tour.
Andrews admitted her eagerness to get insider information on Swift’s dance routines and show details. Before the 14-time Grammy winner’s acoustic set, Andrews turned to Kelce for insights.
“I asked, ‘Travis! Do you know what songs they are?’ recalled the FOX Sports reporter. ‘He was great, whether he was keeping a poker face or not, he replied, ‘I think it’s an old one and one of the new ones.’ And it was adorable. He added, ‘And the bridge leads to this.’ I was amazed and told him, ‘The fact that you just said “bridge” blows my mind.'”

Thompson joined the conversation, sharing how it was her first time witnessing Kelce in person as he watched Swift perform. She revealed that she took pictures of the tight end as she enjoyed the show.
“There’s a picture I took of her on stage, and he’s off to the side, and the way he looks at her when she’s performing—I told him, ‘You must be so proud.’ He replied, ‘You have no idea.'”
Andrews also gushed about the viral moment when Swift appeared to be singing her 2019 hit ‘Lover’ directly to Kelce in the crowd. The host expressed their admiration for how much Kelce cherished being there for his girlfriend.
“It was amazing to witness that moment. For romantics like Charissa and me, seeing a guy we cheer for on and off the field, and of course, being massive fans of hers, it was really cool to get an inside look at their relationship, which we’ve all been hoping for. But it was truly special to see him just standing there, taking her in.”

Andrews and Thompson famously encouraged Swift to go on a date with their friend on their podcast before the relationship became public knowledge late last year.
Having played a role in their romance, Andrews refuted critics who labeled Swift and Kelce’s relationship as a publicity stunt.
“We were there, we saw them. I don’t believe for a second that this is an act. I’m embarrassed by those who said it was a PR stunt. I don’t want it to be. I hope they get married. I want this to last. It’s so cool to watch.”
“It’s a great message for so many people to see a successful man like him walk into a room and light it up, and to see how he supports her.”

Andrews attended the first of three consecutive shows at Wembley Stadium over the weekend and missed Kelce’s on-stage debut with Swift on Sunday.
However, the Calm Down hosts compared the moment to Swift chugging a beer on the jumbotron while Kelce competed in the Super Bowl earlier this year.
“It’s a perfect representation of who they are as a couple—not taking themselves too seriously, having fun, and including each other in their big moments,” Thompson said. “It’s just adorable. I thought it was great.”
