Suki Waterhouse kept things low-key as she touched down at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, just days after setting pulses racing in a pink string bikini.
The 32-year-old model and actress cut a casual figure in a simple T-shirt, black yoga pants, and slippers, layering a long coat over her ensemble as she navigated the terminal. She completed her travel look with a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a brown purse slung over her shoulder.
Waterhouse’s arrival in Los Angeles comes shortly after she reflected on her ‘isolating and disorienting’ breakup with actor Bradley Cooper, which occurred a decade ago in 2015 after two years of dating.

In a recent interview with British Vogue for their August cover story, Waterhouse opened up about the challenges she faced following the highly publicized split. ‘It’s taken a decade to work myself out and actually be able to have this expansion in my life,’ she shared.
Waterhouse, who was 21 at the time of her relationship with Cooper, who was 38, further elaborated on the difficulties of navigating heartbreak in the public eye. ‘When something very public happens to you and the story behind it is dark and difficult, and you’re actually not doing well, and you can’t explain yourself to the world, that’s very isolating and disorientating,’ she explained.
The artist, who has since channeled her emotions into music, acknowledged that moving on from heartbreak is a complex process. ‘You can’t let go of things until you expose them to sunlight and they shrivel up and die… Do you feel like you’ve ever truly recovered? I think it always stays in you,’ she admitted.
Looking back, Waterhouse also reflected on the role she played in the chaos of her past relationships. ‘I played a part in this; that was really unfair; this was really brutal – and you’re a lot more at peace with the whole story,’ she said. While acknowledging that ‘you’re going to get an unfair shot’ sometimes, she also believes in ‘karmic retribution,’ adding, ‘You watch their narrative play out and you’re like, “Haha, now everyone else knows you’re [expletive].”‘
Despite the challenges, Waterhouse wouldn’t change a thing about her past. ‘I wouldn’t take anything back,’ she asserted. ‘All these chaotic ways that my life went, it was always material.’ She further explained how these experiences have ‘led me to a love that is really pure and a life now’ that brings her joy.
Indeed, Waterhouse has a lot to feel great about these days, as she recently welcomed a daughter with her fiancé, actor Robert Pattinson, just four months ago.

Waterhouse reflected on the joys of her current relationship and the positive impact it has had on her life. ‘I think [Pattinson is] quite funny, I light up when I’m around him,’ she gushed. She also noted that living in Los Angeles ‘definitely became a lot more fun when I met him.’
As for her journey to motherhood, Waterhouse shared that it was a planned step in her relationship with Pattinson. ‘One day we looked at each other and said, “Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be,”‘ she recalled.
The new mother also opened up about the challenges of balancing motherhood and her career, specifically recalling her performance at Coachella just six weeks after giving birth. ‘Every mum’s morality is in question so much, not just from yourself but from society. Everyone’s projecting something onto you. That’s an insane thing,’ she said.
Despite the pressure, Waterhouse pushed through, adopting a resilient mindset. ‘This is what we’re doing, this is what we’re about, and [expletive] what anyone else thinks,’ she declared.
