Singer Paul Jason Klein of the band LANY is recovering after a terrifying accident that landed him in the hospital. The 36-year-old musician, known for his past relationships with celebrities like Dua Lipa and Nicola Peltz Beckham, shared a health update on his Instagram on Tuesday, June 6th, revealing that he had been struck by a car while riding his Vespa home from the gym.
In his Instagram post, Klein wrote, “I don’t recall much after the collision… I woke up on a stretcher being placed into an ambulance.” The post included shocking photos of his recovery in the hospital, one of which showed his face covered in blood from apparent wounds on his forehead, cheekbone, and chin, his eyes closed.

However, he assured his followers that he was making steady progress and would be back to full health soon.
Unfortunately, Klein’s condition will not improve in time for LANY’s upcoming performances on their “A Beautiful Blur: The World Tour.” The singer shared that doctors had advised rescheduling the band’s shows in Australia and New Zealand to prioritize his recovery. He thanked his fans for their understanding and expressed his eagerness to heal and return to performing.
Klein concluded his heartfelt message by reaffirming his passion for music and his dedication to his fans. LANY, comprised of singer Klein and guitarist Jake Clifford Goss, released their latest album, “A Beautiful Blur,” in 2022. The band’s keyboardist, Les Priest, departed from the group that same year.
In January 2018, Klein and Lipa ended their five-month relationship. A music source commented on the breakup, stating, “Dua and Paul had a wonderful time together, but things simply didn’t work out. The split has brought back memories of her previous relationship with Isaac [Carew], whom she dated until February of last year.”
