The highly anticipated season finale of HBO’s House of the Dragon has left fans underwhelmed, with many taking to social media to express their disappointment.
The 70-minute finale, titled “The Queen Who Ever Was,” failed to deliver the epic battle scenes and dramatic twists that fans have come to expect from the Game of Thrones franchise.
While there were some surprising moments, including a bold move by Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and a shocking twist with the Iron Throne, many fans felt that the episode was lacking in action and excitement.

Many fans felt that the season finale failed to deliver on the promise of an epic battle, with one tweeting, “S1 ended with preparing for war. S2 ended with preparing for war. WHERE’S WAR? I WANT WAR #HouseOfTheDragon Ep8.”
Another fan tweeted, “55 mins in.. no action.. just bumping gums”, while a third said, “#HouseOfThedragon Lamest finale I’ve ever seen. Now we gotta wait two years. Yawn.”
