Dancing With The Stars professional Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, according to reports.

TMZ alleges that Artem, 42, was taken into custody at Napa County Jail on Thursday morning and booked on a felony domestic violence charge.

Details surrounding the incident remain unclear, and it is unknown if his wife Nikki Garcia, 40, was involved in the alleged incident.

Nikki had posted on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, sharing a photo of her giving a shout-out to a skincare business in Napa, indicating that she was in the area.

According to Page Six, Artem’s bail has been set at $25,000.

Just three days prior to his arrest, Artem celebrated his two-year wedding anniversary with Nikki, posting a heartfelt tribute to his wife on social media.

Nikki also marked the occasion by posting a video capturing sweet moments from their relationship, accompanied by the lyrics to Can’t Help Falling in Love.

Artem and Nikki share a four-year-old son named Matteo together, and the professional dancer has been competing on Dancing With The Stars on and off since 2014.

It is reported that Artem was not a part of the cast for the upcoming 33rd season of DWTS.

Before joining Dancing With The Stars, Artem was a dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, and met his wife Nikki on the show in 2017.
