Jennifer Garner enthusiastically kicked off the fall season, which officially begins on September 22, by sharing a heartwarming video of herself in the pumpkin patch of her $7.8 million four-bedroom Brentwood Park home on Sunday.

The 52-year-old Once Upon a Farm co-founder went on to enlighten her captive combined 31.2 million social media following with ‘nerdy farm facts’ about the winter squash and official fruit of Halloween.

“This flower is both male and female,” Jennifer explained, adding, “There’s a pistol inside and it needs the pollen. Do you know who takes care of that? Bees! Thank you for the bees! Once the pollen falls onto the pistol in the middle, the miracle continues. It can start to grow. This is when you get the email that says, ‘Congratulations, Mama Pumpkin. Your baby is the size of a large grape!’ It keeps growing and growing and growing. This curls and dries off. Sometimes, it doesn’t. It’s like a little umbilical cord, it’s crazy!”

Garner continued, playfully holding up two gourds near her chest and joking, “Dear Mama, congratulations. Today your pumpkins are a nice size B [cup]. And they keep growing and growing until they grow into big beautiful pumpkins!”

The actress, who had a “practically Amish” upbringing, was not allowed to wear makeup, paint her nails, pierce her ears, or dye her hair as a teenager growing up in West Virginia.

Earlier this month, Garner reunited with her ex-husband Ben Affleck to escort their eldest child, 18-year-old Violet Anne Affleck, to her freshman dorm at Yale University in New Haven, CT via private jet.

The Family Switch producer-star and the 52-year-old Air director-actor also welcomed 15-year-old Fin and 12-year-old Samuel during their decade-long marriage, which ended in 2018.

Ben has been confiding in Jen “in a lot of ways” amid his divorce from estranged second wife Jennifer Lopez “especially lately when things with JLo haven’t been so great in recent months.”

“There’s a deep level of trust and respect between them,” an insider said. “Jen was hopeful that things would work out between them, but of course, she just wants them to be happy. So she supports whatever path they’ve decided to take. She is trying her best to stay out of their relationship in terms of what went wrong because she doesn’t feel like it’s any of her business.”

The 55-year-old pop diva filed for divorce from Affleck in LA County Superior Court on what would’ve been the second anniversary of their wedding at his $8.9 million, 87-acre property on the Hampton Island Preserve in Georgia.

Meanwhile, Garner’s boyfriend since 2018, Cali Group chairman John Miller, “doesn’t like sharing her and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben.”

“He wishes it wasn’t like that because he understands they are a family, but it gets to him like it would anyone,” a source said. “John doesn’t have any fears that they are getting back together, but it has been tough coping with her support for Ben during his split from JLo.”
