Rising country music star Lainey Wilson is teaming up with a renowned artist on her upcoming album, Whirlwind.
The Yellowstone actress will collaborate with the talented Miranda Lambert on the new song Good Horses, set to be released this Friday, August 2. Wilson, Lambert, and Luke Dick co-wrote this exciting new track.
This marks the first time Wilson has included a collaboration on one of her own projects, and it’s also the first duet between the two artists. Good Horses follows the release of previous singles Hang Tight Honey, Country’s Cool Again, and 4x4xU.

This news comes after Wilson shared her admiration for Taylor Swift, revealing that the 14-time Grammy Award winner is a fan of her music.
While attending the premiere of the new disaster film Twisters in Los Angeles, Wilson was thrilled to discover that Swift is a fan of hers, and that the respect has been mutual through the years.
Wilson, now 32, recalled watching Swift perform at CMA Fest on the Riverfront stage when she was just 15. She was inspired by Swift’s performance, despite there being hardly anyone in the crowd.
Wilson added that she was able to tell Swift about the experience, and Swift jokingly replied that there were only 16 people in the audience.
Wilson previously shared her admiration for Swift on the Zach Sang Show podcast, expressing her respect for the singer-songwriter’s impressive career and ability to maintain a strong connection with her fans.

Wilson’s self-titled debut album was released in 2014, and she is now gearing up to drop her fifth album, Whirlwind, on August 23.
The two stars share another parallel in that they are both currently dating football players. Wilson recently confirmed her romance with former Pittsburgh Steelers and LA Rams quarterback Devlin Hodges, while Swift has been in a high-profile relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce since September 2023.

Wilson’s ongoing Country’s Cool Again Tour will continue on in North America through December, while Swift will wrap up her Eras Tour in Europe before heading back to the U.S. for concerts in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis, and then Canada to conclude the tour in Vancouver.
The Eras Tour kicked off in the United States back in March 2023.
