Kendall Jenner Opens Up About the Dark Side of Modelling: ‘It’s a Very Lonely Existence’
Kendall Jenner, one of the world’s most successful and highest-paid models, has revealed that her career has not been without its challenges. In a recent podcast interview, the 28-year-old supermodel confessed that modelling can be a “very lonely” existence.
Despite her fame and fortune, Jenner admitted that she has faced her own set of struggles, including feeling overworked and missing out on jobs she would have loved to get. She even revealed that there have been times when she has cried herself to sleep, feeling alone and isolated in random cities.
Jenner shared her emotional struggles on Emma Chamberlain’s ‘Anything Goes’ podcast, saying: “I’m not gonna sit here and say that I’ve had the toughest journey. I think I’ve been extremely fortunate. But I also have had my own set of challenges, whether it’s [being] overworked or not getting a job that I would’ve really loved to get.”
The reality star and entrepreneur, who has launched her own tequila brand, 818 Tequila, also opened up about her struggles with anxiety, which she has been dealing with since she was a child. She revealed that there have been moments when she questioned whether the sacrifices she has made in her career have been worth it.
However, Jenner also expressed her gratitude for her career, saying that she now feels more “stable” and “hopeful” than ever before. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains committed to her craft and is determined to continue pushing boundaries in the fashion industry.
By sharing her story, Jenner hopes to raise awareness about the mental health struggles that many models face in the industry. Her honesty is a testament to her strength and resilience, and serves as a reminder that even the most successful individuals can face dark times.
