Apologetic Thievery in L.A.
Burglar Leaves Heartfelt Note, Cites Financial Strains
A Desperate Cry for Help?
In a bizarre twist, a string of burglaries in L.A. has taken an unexpected turn, with a thief leaving apologetic notes at the scene of the crime.
Over the past few nights, 10 businesses in the city of San Fernando have been targeted, with authorities suspecting a single perpetrator. The thief’s modus operandi is as intriguing as it is unsettling.

The thief’s targets have been businesses, and in at least one instance, a heartfelt note was left behind, expressing remorse and promising not to return.

The note read, “Sorry! Need $ for personal struggles, won’t come back.”
Despite the apologetic tone, the thief’s actions were far from considerate. One business owner reported that the burglar left a trail of destruction, including shattered glass and a vandalized cash register. The thief took the bills, leaving the coins scattered everywhere.

The same night, the thief struck again, with security cameras capturing the moment the note was written.
Incidentally, L.A. has seen a surge in burglaries, with even high-profile celebrities like Bhad Bhabie and Sarah Hyland falling victim.
