Ryan Garcia’s Ex Secures Restraining Order Amid Allegations of Threats and Harassment
Ryan Garcia’s ex-wife, Andrea Celina Velarde, has obtained a restraining order against the professional boxer in Los Angeles, citing allegations of threats and harassment. However, the former couple has reportedly spoken and is committed to resolving their issues amicably.
Andrea filed for the temporary restraining order (TRO) last week, accusing Ryan of increasingly erratic behavior. In court documents, she alleges that Ryan showed up at a restaurant where she was dining with her sibling on July 19, causing a scene and threatening her brother, which led to their departure. She claims he then followed her home and waited outside in his car for 10 minutes.
Andrea also alleges that Ryan sent her harassing texts two days later, including a message that threatened to harm her brother if she didn’t contact him. In the documents, she claims Ryan wrote, “It’s [expletive] WAR… I want to murder your… Brother. I can’t wait. We are going to kill him.” Another alleged text message reads, “I’ll kill your dad and your brother at the same time.”
Andrea claims that when she threatened to seek a restraining order, Ryan responded by saying she wouldn’t receive it because he would bribe the judge. She also alleges that Ryan has been harassing her on social media, humiliating her in front of his followers, and even threatening to share intimate videos of the two.

The restraining order bars Ryan from coming within 100 yards of Andrea, their two children, her brother, or her parents. He is also required to vacate their shared home and destroy any explicit photos or videos he may possess of Andrea.
However, it appears that the restraining order may be short-lived, as Andrea has reportedly reached out to her attorney to inquire about rescinding the TRO.
Ryan Garcia, 25, acknowledges that he has been dealing with personal issues and has made mistakes, but denies ever physically harming his ex and claims to love his family. If the TRO remains in place, a hearing is scheduled for next month.
