Cole Palmer has committed his long-term future to Chelsea, signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until June 2033.
The 22-year-old England forward was the standout performer for the Blues last season, scoring 25 goals in 45 games and impressing with his clinical finishing and vision on the pitch.
Palmer’s impressive form continued into the international arena, where he made a significant impact off the bench for England during Euro 2024.
He played a crucial role in setting up Ollie Watkins’ late winner in the semi-final against the Netherlands, and his second-half strike in the final against Spain left the Three Lions within touching distance of a long-awaited trophy.

Palmer’s new deal is a significant boost for Chelsea, who were determined to tie down one of their most talented young players.
In the aftermath of England’s devastating defeat to Spain, Palmer admitted that their opponents were the deserving winners on the night.
‘Spain have been brilliant all tournament, everyone has seen what they can do, so they’re a great team, congratulations to them,’ he said, before conceding: ‘It hurts… I’m gutted.’
Palmer took to Instagram to reflect on his Euro 2024 journey, posting a series of tournament snapshots alongside the caption: ‘Gutted. An honour to represent my country in a major tournament, thank you to everyone for their support throughout the tournament.’
The Chelsea forward, nicknamed ‘cold’, was a rare bright spot in an otherwise disappointing Premier League campaign for the Blues.
He finished the season with 22 goals and 11 assists in the league, and was particularly deadly from the penalty spot, scoring nine across the campaign.
Chelsea will be hoping that Palmer’s contract extension will be the catalyst for a more successful season in the future.
