Ben Affleck is putting roots down in Pacific Palisades

The new home purchase comes amid rumors that he and Jennifer Lopez (pictured in May 2023) are headed for divorce

Affleck and Lopez recently celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary apart, fueling speculation about the state of their marriage. Lopez remained in their marital home, while Affleck has been living in a luxurious $100,000 monthly rental in the Brentwood area, close to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s residence.

Reports of the couple’s marital woes began circulating in May, after they hadn’t been seen together since late March. A source revealed that Affleck had already moved out of their shared home, and that they would likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for.

Meanwhile, Lopez is currently in New York City, where she recently celebrated her 55th birthday in the Hamptons. She thanked her fans for their birthday messages in a heartfelt post.

“I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world,” she wrote. “I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life. Thank you sooooo very much.”
