Holly Marie Combs broke down in tears on her podcast, House of Halliwell, as she remembered her late Charmed co-star Shannen Doherty, who passed away on July 13 at the age of 53 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Combs, 50, became emotional as she recounted one of her final encounters with Doherty, who had joined her and fellow castmates Brian Krause and Drew Fuller as a co-host for their Charmed rewatch podcast just days before her passing.
In the emotional episode, Combs and her co-hosts paid tribute to their beloved co-star, remembering her as an “amazing presence” with a “superpower” and “incredible ability” to make others forget she was battling a terminal disease.

Krause, 55, began the tribute episode by saying, “I don’t want to say this is a special episode because that doesn’t feel right. This is a tribute to someone we all love very much.”
Combs recalled how excited Doherty was about their Charmed rewatch podcast, saying she had recently met up with the late actress to rewatch the TV series, in which they starred as two of three witch sisters for three seasons from 1998 to 2001.

Combs added that they thought they “had more time” with their friend and said Doherty “didn’t think she was going anywhere anytime soon.”
