Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, with the player joining the German giants on a five-year contract.
The 22-year-old becomes a key part of new manager Vincent Kompany‘s vision for the club as they seek to reclaim the Bundesliga title after a disappointing second-place finish last season.
Olise’s transfer brings to a close a lengthy saga that began in June, with Bayern paying a reported £49.5 million for the French youth international.
In a social media video posted by the club, Olise proudly wore the famous red shirt of Bayern.
Michael Olise has joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace, and he is eager to win titles with the club.
Speaking to the club’s website, Olise expressed his determination to prove himself in the Bundesliga and help the team win multiple titles.
“The discussions with FC Bayern were extremely positive, and I’m thrilled to now be a member of such a prestigious club,” Olise remarked.
“This is a significant challenge, and it’s exactly what I was hoping for.
I want to show what I can do at this level and contribute to our team winning as many championships as possible in the coming years.”
