Changes are brewing in the world of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and the upcoming season is set to look vastly different from its predecessors.
In recent weeks, the long-running franchise has witnessed a flurry of cast departures and confirmations, leaving fans wondering what’s in store for Season 16.
Let’s take a closer look at the developments that have shaken up the show.
In late February, Marlo Hampton announced that she wouldn’t be returning to the show, citing a desire for a “fresh start.”
Meanwhile, Kenya Moore’s departure has been shrouded in controversy, with rumors suggesting that she was let go by Bravo executives after allegedly violating the network’s code of conduct.
Moore has since taken to social media to address the speculation, stating that her “heart is full and [her] conscience is clean.”
And in a surprise move, Phaedra Parks is making a comeback to the series after a three-year hiatus!
“You called, I answered,” Parks said on Instagram, sharing a photoshoot of herself holding a peach once again.
Parks’ return comes after she exited the show in 2017 amid controversy surrounding damaging rumors about Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker.
She’s not the only familiar face making a comeback, though – Cynthia Bailey, who left the show in 2021, is set to reappear as a Friend of the cast.
The Season 16 lineup will also feature returning star Drew Sidora, as well as newcomers Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley.
Kandi Burruss, on the other hand, has confirmed her departure from the show, revealing that she’s moved on to other projects.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 is yet to receive a premiere date, but fans can catch up on previous seasons on Peacock.
