Arne Slot, Liverpool’s new head coach, is currently enjoying a well-deserved break with his family in Ibiza. The Dutchman, who assumed his role on June 1st, has been unwinding after a successful stint as Feyenoord’s manager, which culminated in a Dutch Cup victory in April.
Slot’s daughter, Isa, shared a glimpse into their family vacation on social media, posting a photo of the group relaxing by the pool in the Spanish island’s sunny weather. The 45-year-old coach is expected to be officially introduced as Liverpool’s new boss ahead of the upcoming pre-season.
Slot had previously confirmed his appointment as Liverpool manager, and the club followed suit with an announcement on Monday, marking the end of Jurgen Klopp’s memorable tenure. Liverpool’s statement revealed that Slot’s first pre-season in charge will commence in July, with a three-game trip to the United States as part of the preparations.
While Slot is yet to be officially unveiled, Liverpool is anticipated to announce a date for the formal introduction before the start of pre-season training. This vacation serves as a chance for Slot to recharge and prepare for the challenges that lie ahead as he steps into his new role at Anfield.
