Almost a month after Tom Sandoval’s shocking lawsuit against his ex, Ariana Madix, the reality TV star finally broke her silence on the matter.
Madix, 39, was sued by Sandoval, 40, in July for allegedly accessing his phone and viewing intimate videos and photos of him and his mistress Rachel Leviss without his consent, which led to the demise of their nearly nine-year relationship.
The lawsuit also accused Madix of sharing the explicit content with others without Sandoval’s permission. However, just a day later, Sandoval dropped the lawsuit, claiming his lawyer, Matt Geragos, had misled him about the filing.
During her appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Madix was asked about the lawsuit and her reaction to Sandoval’s statement that he never intended to sue her.
Madix responded with a shrug and a smile, saying, “It was a really bad day.”

Madix also revealed that she hasn’t been in touch with Tom Schwartz and only occasionally speaks with Scheana Shay.
When asked about her friendship with Shay, Madix said, “Yes, it took a big hit after the reunion, but there’s a lot of love there.”
Madix would only offer a shrug and a smile, and when pressed by host Andy Cohen about her reaction, and if she was furious, she said, ‘It was a really bad day’

Madix also denied rumors that her VPR co-star Katie Maloney was dating Love Island USA’s Conor Newsum, stating, “Katie is not dating anyone. And I have never played matchmaker with Katie. So. Yeah.”

Madix will host the Love Island USA Reunion special, which airs Wednesday, August 14 on Peacock.
