Miami Dolphins tight end, Jonnu Smith, has made some controversial remarks about Buffalo, the home of their AFC East rivals, the Bills.
During an interview on The Dive Bar Podcast, the 28-year-old NFL player described Buffalo as “the worst place you can be in the world.”
NFL’s Jonnu Smith has some choice words about Buffalo
Smith, who has previously played for the Titans, Patriots, and Falcons, is no stranger to visiting Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium. However, his recent comments have certainly ruffled some feathers.
“Going from anywhere in the country to Buffalo is a huge downgrade. And don’t even get me started on their famous wings—they’re overrated!” Smith exclaimed during the podcast.
The Bills’ stadium in the snow
Smith’s comments come as no surprise to fans familiar with the harsh winter weather that often engulfs Buffalo. In fact, a wildcard game between the Bills and Steelers had to be rescheduled earlier this year due to a snowstorm.
It’s safe to say that Smith won’t be receiving a warm welcome when the Miami Dolphins visit Buffalo in week nine of the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
