Prince William and Queen Camilla’s relationship has historically been strained, given the circumstances of her relationship with King Charles and the suffering it caused Princess Diana.

However, in recent times, those close to the royal family reveal that the pair have found common ground, particularly in the last year.

Before this shift, Camilla reportedly described William and Kate Middleton as “disrespectful” and subtly reminded them of her position in the line of succession.

According to a new book, Camilla would subtly make William pay for his disrespect whenever she felt he was not respecting his father.

One particular incident involved William and Kate Middleton asking to join Charles and Camilla’s security convoy while leaving Windsor Castle during the holidays. However, they kept Charles and Camilla waiting, which did not sit well with the Queen Consort.

As a result, Camilla sent a subtle jab by leaving without them, leaving William and Kate to see the blue flashing lights of the motorbikes disappearing in the distance.
