2024 Paris Olympics: The Sudden Departure of Paraguay’s Luana Alonso
A Swimmer Too Distracting for the Games?
Luana Alonso, the stunning Paraguayan swimmer, has been asked to vacate her Olympic accommodations following allegations of creating an inappropriate atmosphere.
Alonso, who was residing in a Parisian village with fellow Olympic athletes, was reportedly causing a stir among her teammates.

The decision came after Committee Olympic Paraguay general manager Larissa Schaerer issued a statement claiming Alonso’s presence was having an undue impact on the team’s dynamics.

Alonso subsequently requested to leave the village, and Schaerer granted her permission. However, Alonso surprisingly returned the next day, looking more like a tourist than an athlete.

Schaerer was perplexed by Alonso’s return and promptly asked her to leave once again. This marks the latest twist in Alonso’s tumultuous Olympic journey.
As you may recall, Alonso finished 6th in the 100m butterfly and failed to qualify for the semi-finals. She then shocked fans by announcing her retirement from swimming on social media, only to remain in Paris.
Now, it seems her Parisian adventure is coming to an end.
