The young star was hospitalized following an undisclosed medical emergency on May 11 and was later transferred to a secure unit, where she suffered “life-threatening” injuries after falling from a fifth-floor balcony walkway on May 26.

In a heartwarming update, Mamie recently shared a video on Facebook, showcasing her remarkable progress. With the help of a walker, she managed to take her first steps, much to the delight of her family and medical staff.

Mamie’s mother had previously given an update on her daughter’s condition, stating that she had survived her injuries but faced a long road to recovery. The family had also set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of Mamie’s medical treatment, which has so far raised nearly $40,000 Canadian dollars.
