Nicole Richie, the wife of Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, has landed a high-profile job as the face of Estee Lauder’s Night Night Club campaign, promoting the brand’s Advanced Night Repair serum.
The new ad takes a playful spin on bottle service, where Richie used to get vodka, but now she gets serums. In the campaign video, she receives a luxurious delivery of the night serum, complete with sparklers and a bottle holder.
“We love a sparkler moment, I just don’t really go out anymore,” Richie says in the video. “This is a new bottle service.”

In the commercial, Richie applies the product and climbs into bed, showcasing her flawless complexion. “My Advanced Night Repair really went all out last night,” she says. “I mean, look at me! Is it 2007 again?” she cheekily adds.
The campaign holds a special meaning for Richie, as it reminds her of getting ready with her mother, singer Brenda Harvey Richie, when she was a little girl. “I would sit in her dressing room and watch her get ready,” she told People. “She had a huge bathtub and I would sit in her empty bathtub and watch her do her skincare and makeup, and Estée Lauder is one of those brands that I was really paying attention to.”
Richie doesn’t usually promote brands other than her own, but because of that connection to her mother, partnering with Estee Lauder was a no-brainer. “I was immediately on board,” she told the outlet. “The biggest thing for me with this Supreme Bounce Creme is that it’s just so moisturizing.”

The ad is the first of two Richie stars in. In the second, which debuts on August 29, she’s at a disco party during a dream sequence where she gets to show off her impressive dance moves.
This new collaboration comes as Richie shoots a new series with her Simple Life costar Paris Hilton. The two recently shared a clip on Instagram, teasing that they’re planning “something very, very special” to celebrate 20 years of their show.
“Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole,” Paris said in the video. “As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show.”
