One of England’s all-time top goal-scorers, Arthur Rowley, spent eight years at Leicester, notching an impressive 265 goals in 321 appearances. His record-breaking 44 goals in the 1956/57 season still stands as a club best.

Another Foxes legend is Gordon Banks, the iconic goalkeeper who made nearly 300 appearances for the club. Banks, of course, is best known for his time as England’s No. 1, including his incredible save from Pele in the 1970 World Cup.

Leicester City’s history is also marked by their cup successes, including their 1964 League Cup win and their 1997 and 2000 triumphs under Martin O’Neill.

The 2016 title win, of course, remains one of the greatest sporting upsets of all time, with players like N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez, and Jamie Vardy playing key roles in the Foxes’ historic campaign.
