Angelina Jolie is by her son Pax Jolie-Pitt’s side as he recovers from a serious head injury sustained in a terrifying e-bike crash in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old was riding an electric bike without a helmet when he collided with the back of a vehicle on Monday night, according to reports.
Witnesses initially believed Pax had died in the crash, but he regained consciousness when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Angelina, 49, rushed to the hospital to be by her son’s bedside, where he is currently in stable condition.

Pax has a history of e-bike accidents, with sources claiming he has been in multiple crashes prior to Monday’s incident and has consistently ridden without a helmet.
His friends are said to be concerned about his behavior, with one source sharing, ‘He’s being reckless. They’re worried.’

Pax, who is estranged from his father Brad Pitt, was reportedly driving down Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m. when he crashed his bike into the back of a car, which had already stopped for the red light.
The car’s driver got out and checked on Pax before police and paramedics arrived.
First responders were concerned that Pax may have suffered bleeding to the brain, so they rushed him to the hospital as a precaution.

In recent months, Pax has been spotted riding an electric bike on multiple occasions, often without wearing a helmet.
He was most recently pictured on the bike on July 11, just days before the crash.
California state laws require all bike and motorcycle riders under 18 to wear helmets, but it’s unclear if the type of bike Pax was riding at the time would have required him to wear a helmet.
As for Pax’s estranged father Brad Pitt, a rep for the 60-year-old actor declined to comment when asked by DailyMail.com if he planned to visit his son in hospital; seen in February
Pax’s accident comes amid ongoing tensions between his parents, who have been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle for years.
The couple’s issues reportedly stem from a 2016 incident on a private jet, in which Jolie accused Pitt of physical assault.
The FBI later investigated the incident, but no charges were filed.
Since then, the couple’s children have appeared to distance themselves from Pitt, with some even dropping his last name from their own names.
