Rap sensation Cardi B has shut down claims that she’s struggling to make ends meet and is secretly trying to sell one of her homes. The 31-year-old WAP rapper took to her X account on Monday to set the record straight after Icy Scoop News spread a since-deleted post claiming she was “facing foreclosure” and “fighting to make payments” on her Atlanta mansion.
Cardi B fired back at the rumors, saying, “LMAOOO You bum btches wish… me and Offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7, check the Atlanta market.” She added, “And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”

The Grammy-winning rapper and her husband Offset were targeted in a swatting hoax at their Atlanta home in August, where a malicious individual falsely reported a violent incident, prompting an emergency response from authorities.
Cardi B and Offset were the latest victims of a swatting hoax, which has also targeted other celebrities such as Pharrell, Nicki Minaj, Paris Hilton, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, as well as the Playboy Mansion.
The couple’s Atlanta purchase came after two years of house hunting, which Cardi B attributed to their differing tastes in homes.
“Houses that [Offset] liked, there was always a room I didn’t like that we couldn’t agreed on. And a couple houses that I liked [Offset] said NO because the areas they [were] in are not [too] good,” she explained via Instagram Story in 2019.
