Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky appear to be moving on from their split, but their escalating financial woes are keeping them entangled for now.

Documents obtained exclusively show that the Franchise Tax Board in the State of California issued a tax lien to the exes on June 25, 2024, for owing $6,542.50 in taxes for the year 2022. The tax lien included the address of their former marital home – their seven-bedroom, eight-bath mansion in Encino, which they purchased in 2017 for $8.2 million.

While a $6,500 lien may not be significant for both Kyle and Mauricio given their net worths, The Agency co-founder still has a total of $31,464.50 in unpaid taxes for the tax years 2022 and 2023.

The multiple state tax liens, issued to UMRO Realty Corp/The Agency in the care of Mauricio, were for his various offices in Calabasas, Marina Del Rey, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, and Sherman Oaks.

On December 20, 2023, The Agency was hit with three liens in the amounts of $4,673.64, $3,878.19, and $290.15.

Prior to this, The Agency was hit with four liens on December 14, 2022, in the amounts of $16,777.97, $3,454.41, $2,120.67, and $269.47.

Kyle and Mauricio previously were slapped with a $13,707.47 state tax lien in April 2022 for the 2020 tax year, but the lien was released after they paid it off in July 2022.

The mounting financial issues come after Kyle revealed that although managing money matters post-breakup can be challenging, it is not her primary concern.

‘It’s very clean cut, everything’s half, regardless. That’s not an issue for me,’ she said on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.

She added: ‘We did not have a prenup. My husband did not have a penny when I married him. My mom lent us money when we were first married.’

The new lien comes after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills icon, 55, was spotted supporting rumored girlfriend Morgan Wade in Minnesota on Friday, just days after Mauricio kissed a younger actress in Greece.

Her Twitter profile still has ‘wife’ in it, though she seldom uses the platform. Kyle previously dropped Umanksy from her name on social media in May, but kept ‘wife’ in her bio.

The move comes after Mauricio packed on the PDA with 33-year-old actress Nikita Kahn during a getaway in Mykonos.

The pair wrapped their arms around each other and shared a steamy kiss before smiling at each other while hugging.

Umansky had previously sparked dating rumors with his DWTS pro partner Emma Slater, 35 – but the sighting marks the first time he has been seen romantically with a new woman.

The Buying Beverly Hills star smiled at his mystery companion as she enthusiastically greeted him during his European break.

Kyle and Mauricio separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage but continued to live together until May, when they confirmed that he had moved out.

The pair share three daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, with Kyle also mom to daughter Farrah, 35, whose father is her first husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
