Evelyn Lozada has discovered the secret to successful co-parenting with her ex, Carl Crawford.
In an exclusive interview, Lozada, 48, revealed that she and Crawford, 42, have managed to maintain a drama-free relationship for the sake of their 10-year-old son, Leo. “We just make it work,” she explained. “We don’t have any drama. It’s really about having a healthy co-parenting relationship.”
Lozada and Crawford were together for four years before calling it quits in 2017. Despite their split, they continue to prioritize their son’s well-being, often attending special events and gatherings together.
When it comes to her love life, Lozada, the entrepreneur behind SG by Evelyn Lozada bodysuits, revealed that she’s “single by choice.” Although she had a brief romance with LaVon Lewis on Peacock’s reality show Queen’s Court, the pair ultimately decided to go their separate ways in October 2023.
Lozada confessed that she’s enjoying her independence, saying, “I really enjoy being by myself, maybe a little bit too much.” However, she’s open to the idea of love, as long as it “makes sense and fits in perfectly” with her busy schedule as a businesswoman and parent of two.
In addition to her Basketball Wives commitments and expanding her BX Glow jewelry line, Lozada is dedicated to supporting her son’s athletic pursuits, often driving him to various sporting events.
“I’m always doing travel baseball and tournaments because he’s passionate about this,” Lozada explained. “Leo’s very athletic. If he could play 10 sports, he would.”
Lozada is also preparing to take on a new role – that of a grandmother – when her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, 31, welcomes her baby later this year.
