Freaked out about the big 5-0? Take a cue from the Beckhams, who are redefining what it means to be middle-aged and fabulous. Victoria, who recently celebrated her milestone birthday, and David, 49, are living their best lives, and they’re not afraid to show it off.

The power couple, who recently marked 25 years of marriage, are having the summer of a lifetime, jetting off to Europe with their kids and flaunting their adventures on social media.

Let’s be real, the Beckhams have got it good – four homes, amazing genes, and a bank account that’s overflowing. But even with all those advantages, they’re still a shining example of how life can get better with age. Back in their twenties and thirties, things were stressful, what with young kids, crazy schedules, and David’s soccer career taking them on a wild ride from Manchester to Madrid to LA to Milan.

Fast forward to middle age, and things are looking positively rosy. With three of their four kids all grown up (sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz are 25, 21, and 19, respectively, and daughter Harper is 13), they’re enjoying the freedom that comes with being almost empty nesters. Their careers are more relaxed, giving them plenty of quality time together, which they spend working out, eating out, and just enjoying each other’s company. And did we mention their Netflix documentary, Beckham, just scored five Emmy nominations? Talk about a winning streak!

They’re not taking themselves too seriously, either. When David posted a stunning shot of them dining at a vineyard, Victoria couldn’t resist poking fun at her hair. “What? Why is my hair ginger??? What filter is that David?” Who knew even David Beckham likes to add a little something-something to his Instagram pics?

Filter or no filter, the chemistry between them is still palpable. Victoria recently posted a romantic throwback from their 1997 Italian getaway, captioning it: “Portofino was a very, very romantic trip… I remember how excited I was to be there with David for the first time. The intensity of the two of us being together that 48 hours really was amazing… Kisses.” Yeah, we can imagine their kids cringing, but for the rest of us, it’s pretty darn inspiring. Middle-aged people have feelings too, folks!

So, if you’re still thinking, “Easy for them to say, they’re the Beckhams!” just remember: their romantic dinner at a French vineyard could be your cozy night in. Their yacht vacation in Sardinia could be your relaxing day at the beach. They might have the perfect lighting, but you can still create your own magic. So go ahead, take a cue from the Beckhams, and make the most of your life – middle age and all!
