Kansas City Chiefs fans gave tight end Travis Kelce a rousing welcome as he arrived for the second day of training camp, sans his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift, who remained in Europe to continue her concert tour.
On Monday, the 34-year-old Kelce, who only returned to the US last week, was greeted by a sizable crowd of fans, including some who are likely students, as the team holds its preseason practices at Missouri Western State University this year.
The three-time Super Bowl champion was seen strolling down a hill on campus in full Chiefs practice gear, minus pads, and clutching a red team helmet in his right hand. He playfully twirled his mustache and flashed a bright smile to acknowledge the enthusiastic crowd.
His teammate, running back Isiah Pacheco, also exchanged pleasantries with the fans, waving to them as he walked by.

Kelce reported to Chiefs practice for the first time this summer on Sunday, participating in several drills and even scoring a touchdown. He celebrated the go-ahead score by mimicking Tony Gonzalez’s signature slam dunk celebration over the goal post.
It’s been reported that Kelce recently went on a lavish shopping spree with Swift, allegedly spending $75,000 on 14 Italian designer gifts before her concert in Milan as part of her ‘Eras’ tour.
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk recently praised Kelce, describing him as “genuine” and “so supportive” of Swift, whom he mistakenly referred to as Kelce’s “spouse.”
“I think maybe that’s part of the reason why they’re so beloved by fans and why people love both of those couples,” Juszczyk added, also commending Niners teammate and running back Christian McCaffrey, who recently tied the knot with model Olivia Culpo.

Meanwhile, Swift has emerged as the second-favorite to perform at the Super Bowl LIX in February, behind Miley Cyrus.
She was last seen with Kelce at her concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on July 17th.
Kelce wrapped his arm around Swift as they exited backstage, waving to eagle-eyed concertgoers who caught a brief glimpse of the happy couple leaving the Veltins-Arena, which some fans believe may have marked the tight end’s final Eras Tour appearance.
