Renowned spiritual mentor, Dr. Kate Tomas, has refuted claims that she utilized mystical powers to captivate her partner, actor Andrew Garfield.
In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Tomas, 42, expressed her frustration, stating, “It’s disheartening that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always more intriguing if they are in a relationship with a man.” She emphasized her desire to maintain her individuality, saying, “I don’t want to exist under anybody’s shadow.”
Tomas, who possesses exceptional intuitive abilities, has worked with influential individuals globally, including Oscar nominees, Pulitzer prizewinners, authors, and Fortune 500 companies. Alongside her array of services, which include intensive 45-minute tarot readings priced at nearly $1,000 USD, Tomas also offers a seduction master class.
Her comments come on the heels of her podcast, “The Friday Emails,” where she revealed that she ceased offering seduction guidance due to “horrific accusations” that she had employed magic to entice her partner.
Tomas clarified that seduction is “not about magic spells or manipulation,” but rather about embracing one’s authentic self. “People that are truly attractive are full of charisma because they are genuinely themselves and confidently anchored in that,” she explained.
She further emphasized, “Magic takes time. It can’t happen overnight.”
Tomas also touched upon the challenges of dating a movie star, citing the paparazzi as a significant issue. “They will take maybe 150 pictures, then they choose the four where you look worst,” she noted. However, she believes that self-awareness is the most potent form of protection against such scrutiny.
Tomas was spotted with Garfield earlier this year, when the couple was photographed displaying affection on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham on April 1, as captured by Us Weekly.
The actor has attempted to maintain a low profile regarding his romantic life since achieving stardom. Garfield’s most notable relationship began in 2012 after co-starring with Emma Stone in The Amazing Spider-Man. The pair’s on-set chemistry led to a three-year romance that ended in 2015. He has also been linked to several other celebrities, including Susie Abromeit, Rita Ora, Aisling Bea, Christine Gabel, Olivia Brower, and Alyssa Miller.
According to a source, “Things are fairly new between Andrew and Kate, but she’s down to earth and he feels very comfortable with her.” The source also praised Tomas, stating, “Andrew really appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated. He thinks she has a great sense of humor and she’s easy to talk to.”
