Madonna’s son, David Banda, has opened up about his humble lifestyle in New York City, where he has been selling guitar lessons and even “scavenging” for food due to financial constraints.

The 18-year-old musician, who is dating model Maria Atuesta, 21, has moved out of his mother’s home and is currently living in The Bronx. When asked about the pros and cons of living on his own, David expressed, “I love it. I’m not on my own, I’ve got my girlfriend. But I love it.”

He added, “It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging. It’s fun to be young.”

David recently joined his mother, Madonna, on her Celebration Tour, which ended in May with a free concert in Rio de Janeiro. He accompanied his mother on stage, playing the guitar as she performed her hit tracks.
