Chiefs Crooner: Travis Kelce Serenades Swifties with His Rock Rendition Victory

Travis Kelce delivered a performance worthy of Taylor Swift as he took the crown in a Lake Tahoe karaoke contest on Thursday evening.

Following his triumph, Kelce dedicated the victory to his pop-megastar partner, showcasing his playful personality.

Travis and his brother Jason are currently in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, for the American Century Championship, an annual golf tournament that brings together athletes and celebrities to raise funds for charitable causes.

On the eve of the tournament, the competitors let loose in a karaoke competition, with Kelce stepping up to the stage to showcase his vocal prowess.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end chose Whitesnake’s classic 1982 hit, “Here I Go Again,” and his energetic performance was a huge hit with the Lake Tahoe crowd, ultimately securing him the win.

In a video that quickly went viral on social media, Kelce gave a hilarious shout-out to Swift as he accepted his award, jumping up and down with excitement and pretending to shed tears of joy. He then threw one arm in the air and proudly proclaimed, “Taylor, this is for you!”

The 34-year-old has showcased his vocal talents on numerous occasions, with varying degrees of success. During the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade in February, Kelce took the mic and led a spirited, if slightly inebriated, rendition of Garth Brooks’ iconic 1990 hit, “Friends In Low Places,” as he staggered across the stage.

He also performed Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble’s “Pride and Joy” at a charity event in 2022 and Journey’s timeless classic “Don’t Stop Believin'” at a similar event in 2019.

Kelce and Swift have been dating for nearly a year, with the songstress publicly confirming their relationship by attending her first Chiefs game last September. Since then, they have grown closer, enjoying romantic getaways and nights out while supporting each other in their respective careers.

The Kansas City Chiefs star recently joined Swift on stage at her Eras Tour concert

The Kansas City Chiefs star surprised fans by joining Swift on stage during her Eras Tour concert.

Just last month, Kelce surprised fans by appearing on stage during Swift’s Eras Tour show in London, and he even jetted off to Amsterdam to catch her next round of concerts. According to Life & Style, the celebrity couple isn’t shy about splurging on lavish dates and romantic gestures, reportedly spending an estimated $100,000 per day on gifts, private jets, hotels, bodyguards, and more.

“Taylor and Travis have become international jet-setters, and their extravagant spending is off the charts,” a source revealed to the magazine. “With their multiple bodyguards, private jets, deluxe hotel rooms, and romantic gestures, they might just be the most excessively spending couple in the world. It’s pretty extreme.”
